| SRO2 is the artistic partnership
of Dale Syverson, Peggy Gram and Darlene Rogers, three dynamic
teachers and performers within the Sweet Adelines International
organization. This partnership allows them to pursue
and coordinate a variety of educational programs and
materials. They offered The Part
Shop, an intensive weekend immersion in part singing for
barbershop performers in the Fall of 2005.
They've gone on to develop a series of
four instructional CDs, Sing, Baby, Sing! Here they
provide four different outlooks on the art of warming up
and training the voice.
The CD project became a book in 2008,
Sing Baby Sing, a Springboard to Vocal Artistry. It
provides a user friendly guide to the further use of the 4
CD Editions - offering a 16 week plan for vocal artistry,
along with a breakdown of exercises for various vocal
challenges, as well as exercises for a variety of choral
challenges.
The SRO2 website will provide regular
articles on vocal production and vocal tips, along with
suggested resources for singers, performers & directors,
book reviews, and a calendar of where Dale, Peggy &
Darlene
will be teaching and coaching around the world.
